Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 21, 2026

We want every student to be able to use StudyFish. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

  • We test every page with automated accessibility checks at phone, tablet and desktop sizes.
  • Text meets WCAG contrast requirements.
  • Every feature can be used with a keyboard alone, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Status, such as whether a study session is done or skipped, is shown in words, not by color alone.
  • Buttons and controls have labels for screen readers, and loading and error messages are announced.
  • Nothing requires drag-and-drop.
  • StudyFish respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.

Known limitations

  • StudyFish hasn’t yet been tested by people using screen readers day to day. We plan to do this.
  • AI-generated questions and explanations may occasionally be formatted in ways that are harder to follow with assistive technology.
  • The accessibility of files you upload, such as scanned PDFs, depends on the original document.

Tell us about a barrier

If something in StudyFish is hard to use with your device, browser or assistive technology, email landonfish5@gmail.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what you use (for example your browser and screen reader). We aim to reply within 5 business days.

A clearer plan. A calmer mind.
